The USAID Health Care Improvement Project was asked by USAID to develop a tool to assist in quantifying the number of community health workers (CHWs) who are proving maternal and child health (MCH) services. The tool was drafted in 2009 and first field tested in Nepal. A revised version of the tool is now available for BETA testing. Program implementers who would like to test the tool and agree to provide feedback on the tool to the HCI Project can download the tool after registering on the HCI Portal and then completing a brief survey. Click here to access the survey and participate in BETA testing of the CHW Program Functionality Assessment (CHW-PFA) tool.
